Going to the Open Studio days in Siegburg...
Bogi, Sandra and many more artists, musicians and dancers opened their studios for guests. I thought this a wonderful idea and I enjoyed looking into the workspaces. Or chasing Tom through the workspaces:)

Naptime sewing. After a long break from sewing I started with something simple to warm up, some desperately needed cushion covers... A wonderful site to learn new techniques.

The fabric comes from my mother-in-law, Heidi, who died three years ago, much too early. I have never met her but inherited a lot of fabrics and wool. Apparently she loved to knit and sew! I feel grateful to use them now... I feel like building a little connection by making things out of them.
