Paintings and things

Trying out colours for the kitchen walls...
and paint... this is lovely stuff made from adobe, brickearth, mud, loam, silt or clay (I had to look it up and I loved all the words). No smell, natural ingredients, to be painted on the bare wall, gives a smooth finish.

I just like browns and greys. I hope it won't be too dark. Actually I purchased a book about interior design. I found it on a blog I love to read cause there are so many inspirations and simple things... I was very surprised when I looked into the book first cause this wasn't what I had expected... No pretty pictures... instead the author gives a full tour on how to make your home a healthy place. ( I come to think that the books I find most helpful are the ones with very little pictures). Oh, and I have bought two knitting books but they deserve their own post:)
Just to amuse you... it is not that he despises food, you see. Just Mama being an annoyance sometimes... especially in the morning.. hehe....Notice the two handed spooning action.
But most of the time we get along just fine.
