This is how my desk looks like at the moment. I wished the sun would come out just for a little while, but it´s real november weather, dull and grey, with the need of electric light even at eleven in the morning. This little chap is waiting for me to finish knitting his pants (EZ of course), while I am making a pattern for what looks like an elephant-footed bear.
I know I haven´t been posting for a long time, but still I´ve been producing things- like this little patchwork sample. This technique is not so widely known in Germany, so I had to get a book and learn it. That was on a sunday and because I had no proper filling material, I took an old towel and used it as padding. I wouldn´t recommend cutting terry cloth for this purpose too much, though- the fuzz goes everywhere and loves to stick to things (especially your clothes).
